Habit Tracker Weekly Episode 1: From Sticky Notes to Systems in 3 Hours

🎙️ A real-life check-in on health, wealth & happiness one week at a time.

We Had an Idea. 3 Hours Later, It Was Live.

This show didn’t take months to plan. It took one shared vision, a handful of sticky notes, and the decision to hit Go.

  • Nadia and I mapped the format in Miro

  • Named our segments

  • Hit “Record” on Substack Live and… Habit Tracker Weekly was born.

We’re showing up every Sunday to track the messy, ambitious, real-life pursuit of health, wealth, and happiness.

🔁 “In Spain, On-Time is Too Early”:

Nadia’s story: Navigating Spanish lateness as a punctual French woman.

My story: Russian superstition - if you forget something and go back home, you must look in the mirror to avoid bad luck.

Lesson: Understanding someone’s cultural habits builds better relationships.

💪 Push-Ups, Sobriety & Mission Fit Possible:

Nadia’s story: Started a 30-day challenge doing 50 push-ups daily, tracking her mindset and progress in Obsidian.

My story: Recommitted to my health journey with Mission Fit Possible, down 27-30 lbs since Jan 1.

Lesson: Consistency beats complexity. The right system will carry you when motivation won’t.

💰 Three Buckets, One Bold Financial Vision

Nadia’s story: Growing her audience on Threads while building a system to help others + planning a product around language learning.

My story: Shared my 3-part wealth system: bill-paying job (mortgages), impact income (workshops), and freedom income (books).

Lesson: Wealth isn’t built in one lane. It’s layered, diversified, and starts with sharing what you know.

Mom’s Podcast Debut & $10K+ Drawing Skills

Nadia’s story: Recorded a podcast episode with her mom, capturing powerful stories of resilience and self-sufficiency from rural Algeria.

My story: Discovered that high-performing attorneys pay $10K-$15k+ to learn visual storytelling. Visual Storytelling is the way of life.

Lesson: Happiness doesn’t always look like fun, sometimes it’s found in honoring your roots or investing in meaningful skills.

🎯 What We’re Tracking This Week

Nadia’s Goals:

  • Attempt a full push-up

  • Analyze Threads performance

  • Quality time with a visiting friend

My Goals:

  • Lose 2 lbs

  • Build SOPs for my mortgage business

  • Attend a financial planner’s grand opening to show support

Lesson: Weekly tracking creates momentum. Small goals, stacked consistently, lead to big shifts.
